*odeda worked quickly and quietly setting everything up to preform the spell of his people and hopefully give alan some peace. he layered out lavender in a perfect star which he connected with a circle. in the very middle of the start stood two statues one upside down and one upright. he prepared a smudging sticky of white sage for healing , sweet grass or the holy grass, ceder for protection. he had candles at every point of the start representing the elements.* this has to work..
(one one can enter the area with out my smudging them.)

*I walk to the site of the ritual for Alan. In the distance, I can see Odeda setting everything up. I call to him.* Odeda! *I wave to him and approach him.*

*stops moving* Got it. *I walk very slowly and delicately so that I don't cross the circle nor touch the lavender. I stand at the wind point and wait to see what's going on.*

Looking up waving the smoke with the feather - I welcome the energy and spirit of Above. Father Sky, Star people, and Cloud people. Welcome all that is masculine, grandfathers, fathers, brothers, uncles and sons. And that masculine energy that also exists within the feminine. I welcome the energies and spirits of Father Sky. HO!
Looking down (touching the ground) waving the smoke with the feather - I welcome the energy of Mother Earth, the feminine principle, the energy and spirit of Below. I welcome the energy and the spirit of our grandmothers, our mothers, sisters, aunties and daughters. And that feminine energy that exists within the Masculine. I welcome the energies and spirits of Mother Earth. HO!

*The wind picks up as I look at Odeda. I listen to the message. It sounds angry and frightened.* It says that there is an evil waiting to approach us. *The air picks up a bit more.* Someone is coming to take over the House of Night. *I look up and see a message from the clouds.* Wait...there's more than one person involved. The clouds won't give me names, but they tell me that two people are coming to take over our House of Night. *I lift my arms up.* Air, please, give me more information on the danger. We don't have much time. Please help us. *I lower my arms as the clouds send me another message. As I read the message, I get a feeling of shock on my face and weakness on my body. Luckily, I stay standing. I look to Odeda.* They gave me one name, and I don't think you'll like it. *I sigh and say the name.* Josh. *looks down* That's the only name the clouds gave me.

*I can't move from my spot yet. However, I can see that Odeda collapsed. There's nothing I can do but to try to wake him up from my spot.* Odeda! Are you all right? What did the water say? *I call down air.* Air, help Odeda breathe. Give him fresh air!* The wind goes inside Odeda as he tries to breathe.*
