*I decided to pretend that I couldn't see Professor Odeda wiping stray tears, and I instead focused on Skyler. I knelt down next to his sleeping form. I lightly traced his cheek and was relieved when he made a light sound and shifted. It meant he was merely passed out from shock. I quickly thought happy thoughts and was glad to find the bond still going strong. I sent him a small thought and was beyond glad when he opened his eyes and sat up. He stared at me for a few minutes taking in my new marks. I stood up and offered him a hand up. He took it up and quickly grabbed me up in a bear hug. *
