*Stands up * None taken. I will run with her if she wants me to . But she said she doesn't. She has to learn how to do it. It is a tough course but make sure you keep your mind open so you don't over think yourself .

*smiles at Jessa* I can try. *Looks at Odeda then back at Jessa* The first course is mainly defending yourself and protecting others from harm. So you have to find a way to kill the beast by not letting him kill the human or vampire. It's tricky. But if you use your weapons wisely it will get the job done.

* I push back a loose curl and pick up my bow and placing my dagger in my right boot I look at my Professor again. * So...basically I'm doing an advanced weapons course but with some differences. Instead of you or Odeda I have a man eating beast and instead of classmates I have a human and adult vampire to protect? *seeing her nod, I continue* So I just need to become one with my weapons but beware of my surroundings?

* After tightening my ponytail and refilling my quiver, I reenter the arena. Taking a deep breath I analyze the scene and drown out the voices and sounds outside the barrier. I am focused and determined.
The arena has your average wooden fence around the perimeter acting as a barrier. Knowing it was enforced, I ignored it for the most part. The ground was made out of a rubbery material made to look like grass.
Along the outside of the perimeter was a few trees but they were no use to me. In one corner was an adult vampyre who seemed injured and weak but stable but the beast seemed to be ignoring him. I decided to leave him alone for the moment and instead focus on the human girl who was being actively attacked by the beast. The beast seemed to have some hidden vendetta against humans...or this one anyways*

* I hear Professor Eirene but don't answer. I am focused on the thing in front of me. He's facing the perimeter. His backside is tough and leathery so that's a dead end. His front seems to be made from plate metal shields. In fact the only vulnerable places seems to be the ankle/feet area and the face. A plan begins to form but he needs to be facing me. But first...away from the human. I whistle and throw a rock at its neck. It turns and lumbers toward me momentarily forgetting the human.*

*Using quick reflexes I remove an arrow and push a button. I am quickly holding a rope. Fashioning a lasso I wait for the right time and when it lifts it feet I throw the lasso. I am pleased when it tightens around both legs and it falls stunned for a couple minutes*

*Without looking back, I answer* My grandfather was an inventor and weapons master. He worked for the government back in the war. He taught me everything he could. *returning to the task at hand, I rush forward and grabbing my dagger I stab the thing in the vulnerable part of the neck*
