*Skyler and I had successfully snuck out of the hospital wing, which is a miracle considering that Healer Dove is a eagle when it comes to her patients. After making sure no one saw us, we made our way to my dorm suite. Unlocking the outer door I could hear Skyler's soft gasp of awe. Smiling at his childlike features lit up with wonder, I spoke softly.*
"Being the leader of the Dark Daughters does have a small perk. I have only one roommate and as of yet, the other bedroom is empty."
*I motion towards a dark walnut door on the opposite wall. The common room we are in is open and spacious. The walls are a medium beige with dark walnut doors and trim. The floors are a lighter wood and there are shaggy rugs in turquoise and lime. There are two chocolate brown couches with lime and turquoise throw pillows. A ragged quilt is thrown with care over the back of one couch. In front of the couch is a small silver flat screen television. Behind the living area is a simple wooden dinner table with 4 dark wooden chairs surrounding. Homework is covering most of it. Looking at Skyler I grin and motion towards the silver and light wooden colored kitchen area.*
"So what will it be? There's pretty much anything in the fridge."
*Skyler smiles shyly at me. He brushes back a stray white hair, and says sandwiches will be fine. Moving quickly, I get sandwiches ready for the two of us. Skyler grabs chips and drinks for us and we retreat into my room. Before sitting down, I lock the bedroom door. Laughing at his quizzical look, I tell him its so we can talk with out being interrupted.*
